Lesson 12/09

 

Today, I began to piece together and edit my blog. I used iMovie to do this and especially focussed on getting the timing of the clips to fit with the song.

Lesson 11/09

 

In todays lesson, I started by continuing on the single cover from last lesson. I added another patch image to the cover and experimented with different position for the heart but decided I liked it where it was to start. I also added a translucent circular border to create a spotlight effect.

Afterwards I spent time sorting through footage I took over the weekend and choosing the best takes from each shot. This footage is of the singer in the music video and will be used in between the narrative scenes.

Lesson 08/09

 

Today, I began working on the single cover for the music video. I tried multiple images taken during my photoshoot and decided that this one was best due to the good lighting, and also the placement allowing space for the writing above. The task meant that I could practice new techniques on Photoshop and begin to establish the mist-en-scene of the website.
