When looking at this newspaper front page, I found the language used to be very interesting. In comparison with a lot of other newspaper headlines about the Death of Queen Elizabeth II, this one does not speak of her as a royal. By using only general pronouns, the human side of the Queen is highlighted and audiences are made to feel a much deeper empathy for her grieving family. I also noticed that the sub-headline is still written in gold and purple, despite this being released a number of days after the Death. This shows just how important the event was in national news as the papers are still going against their general branding to honour her.
